Throughout his career, Des has supported governments, businesses, and development partners, advising on entrepreneurship and financial inclusion. He has trained more than 10,000 entrepreneurs and professionals, helped launch over 100 businesses employing 500+ people, facilitated over K100 million in finance for female entrepreneurs, and expanded SME access to finance.
He is driven by a vision of building prosperous communities through enterprise, finance, and innovation, working across sectors to generate jobs, unlock investment, and expand economic opportunity, including through his current Doctorate in Business Administration, researching capital market development for frontier economies.
